Bio

A two-sport athlete, Toyne is a three-year letterwinner in both soccer and softball. She is a reliable option in goal for the Storm, playing quality minutes in each of her three seasons.

2011 (junior)
Appeared in 13 games, primarily in relief ... went 2-0-1 with 33 saves and a 0.47 goals against average ... helped Simpson post a 1.17 goals against average and 10 shutouts, both of which ranked third in the Iowa Conference ... earned a varsity letter ... hit .208 with two home runs and nine RBIs for the softball team, going 3-0 as a pitcher.

2010 (sophomore)
Appeared in 13 games, starting nine ... went 3-6 with a team-high 46 saves and a 2.34 goals against average ... made a career-high six saves on three occaisions ... earned a varsity letter ... appeared in 12 games on the softball team, hitting .357 and going 2-2 as a pitcher. 

2009 (freshman)
Started all four matches in which she appeared ... went 3-1 with two shutouts ... allowed three goals and made 10 saves ... earned a varsity letter ... as a member of the Simpson softball team, went 4-4 as a pitcher with a 4.01 ERA in 12 appearances.

High School
A 2009 graduate of Bellevue East High School ... coached by Sarah Fjell ... named honorable mention All-State following sophomore, junior and senior campaigns ... named Academic All-State as a junior and senior in softball ... also lettered in basketball ... a member of the National Honor Society.
